What would it take to change the world? Could an organization of people accomplish this? Would you want to belong to such an organization?
Rotary has helped to change the world since 1905. Rotary International is the world’s first and largest service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto “Service Above Self.” The Rotary Club of Orland Park provides local civic-minded professionals an enjoyable avenue to help others in need.
The Orland Park Club is celebrating its 44th year of Rotary in 2016. Our Club was awarded Club of the Year in the District 6450 for 2013. Come and visit our Orland Park chapter and experience the joy of giving back to our wonderful Orland/Palos community, and other communities around the world.
The Rotary Club of Orland Park meets each Thursday (with only a few exceptions) at the Silver Lake Country Club, 147th & 82nd Ave, Orland Park, at 12:15 pm (to 1:30 pm). Stop in for lunch and a Rotary Welcome! Beginning November 2015, we now have an evening meeting in lieu of lunch on 4th Thursday at 5pm, email for location as it varies.
